UP TET Notification 2022: Expected Date & How to Check

UP TET exam or Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by UPBEB (Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board). This is a state-level test that is given once a year. UP TET is written by those who are aspiring to become school teachers in the state of Uttar Pradesh. There are two posts namely Primary Post (classes 1 to 5) and Upper Primary Post (classes 6 to 8) for teachers who get selected through UPTET. UP TET notification for the 2022 session will be out soon on the UP TET official site. 

UP TET 2022 exam highlights 

Every notification that the candidates need to know will be released on the official website. UP TET 2022 will be conducted in two sessions of Paper I and Paper II. The table below gives the important highlights of the exam for candidates’ reference. 

UP TET notification for 2022

The UP TET notification for the 2022 session will be accessed from the official site. The notification will be released in a PDF format and has vital details of the test like eligibility, syllabus, pattern, important dates and the process of application. Once the applicant gets their UPTET eligibility certificate after the results, they are qualified to apply for the post of Primary and Upper Primary teachers. The table below gives important dates and the corresponding events.

The candidates can check the notification, which will be available in PDF form in Hindi, on the official website. The UP TET application form will be available for the candidates along with the notification PDF. The admit card will be available for the candidates a week before the test. They should download it from the official site and take it as a hard copy to the exam centre. 

How to apply for UP TET 2022?

Application for UP TET Exam for the 2022 session will begin soon after the notification is released on the official website. The applicants should have

• E-mail Id
• Passport-sized photograph
• Signature
•  Proof Id. 

Exam Specifications UP TET 2022

There are two papers in UP TET. The primary stage is for candidates who want to apply for Primary Post, from classes 1 to 5, will appear for Paper I. The candidates who aspire to become Upper Primary Teachers, from classes 6 to 8, will appear for Paper 2. The applicants have the choice to appear for both papers. UP TET pattern for 2022

The exam pattern for UP TET 2022 will be decided by UPBEB. The candidates will be able to know the pattern of the exam once the notification is out on the official site. There are two papers for UP TET. 

Both papers are set in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions). The detailed exam specification is given in the table below for the reference of the candidates. 

Paper I. 

Paper I is for those candidates who want to become Primary level teachers. The subjects they need to prepare will be reflective of the classes they are going to teach.  The pattern for Paper I is given below. 

Paper II

The candidates have the option to choose between Maths and science or Social Sciences and Social studies. 

The pattern, syllabus, marking scheme and application form will be released by UPBEB on the official website along with the notification for UP TET 2022.
