Easily access Instagram Reels Insights from the main screen of your Reels manager by tapping on ‘Insights’ at the top-left corner. This will bring up a graph showing how many times each video was viewed over time. Finally, you’ll find two other tabs here: ‘People Talking About’ and ‘Who Watched.’ The former shows any recent mentions or shares made on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, while the latter displays an index card listing all relevant accounts that have played one or more videos from this reel (including those who liked them).

How Do You View Instagram Reels Insights?

You can view Instagram Reels insights in one of three places:

  • For a specific post, tap on it and then tap the “View Insights” button at the bottom of your screen. This will open up an Insights Summary for that particular post. To see more detailed information, tap on any section within this summary to expand it (and scroll down). You’ll also notice that you can download these reports in PDF format by tapping on the “More Options” button at the top right corner of your screen.
  • For a campaign as a whole, select it from your main menu and then click its name again to get an overview of all posts included within it. You’ll see tabs above each post called “View Details” which will take you directly into individual posts’ Insights Summaries if you’re interested in seeing larger amounts of data about them individually or downloading them as PDFs again (same process as above). You can also click on an individual tab labeled “View All Posts” under each post name if that’s what suits your needs better!
  • Lastly: hashtags are automatically organized by hashtag type (from the most recent hour-long segment) so if you want more details about whether or not these types were successful overall during their run period​—or even just want to know how many impressions were gained across all categories over time—just follow steps 1 through 3 above but instead choose “#Hashtag Name”.
