The result was Roddy being exiled from Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment. The TAW (Total Action Wrestling) group, which comprises NWA stars, decided to sign Roddy in 2003 despite the controversy. This was advantageous for Piper and the TAW. Vince McMahon could not ignore Roddy’s rising popularity and brought him back to the huge and expanding Worldwide Entertainment.
