New Delhi: The Punjab Police on Saturday (May 9, 2020) captured two siblings with supposed connects to the Hizbul Mujahideen. The two were captured from Haryana’s Sirsa with medications and some case.
As per the police, the siblings — Ranjeet Rana and Gagandeep Rana — work for Hizbul fear based oppressor Hilal Ahmed, who is supposed to be a nearby assistant of the killed Hizbul administrator Riyaz Naikoo.
Since the murdering of Naikoo by the Indian security powers, this capture has been touted to be a significant catch on the grounds that these two went about as specialists who gathered and conveyed cash for the Hizbul militancy outfit.
The DGP of Punjab Police Dinkar Gupta broke the updates on the catch of the two needed siblings on microblogging website Twitter. He expressed, “Following up further on captures of Hizbul agents in J&K and Punjab, Punjab Police juggernaut moved further to seize Ranjeet Rana Cheeta of Amritsar, one of the greatest medication bootleggers of India from Sirsa today. Cheeta was needed in 532 kg heroin pull from Attari in June 2019.”
In another tweet he educated that the two were suspected to have carried heroin and different medications from Pakistan. They would cover the medications and have gotten upwards of six stone salt transfers through ICP Amritsar between 2018-2019.
