Mystic Planetarium
The Treworgy Planetarium at Mystic Seaport is a public planetarium that is ideal for those who cherish the night sky to be amazed by its sight.
The Current Planetarium Shows include:
- 11:00 a.m. (Weekends only) – Full-Dome Movie
- Noon – “Stars from the Panorama”
This session encourages tourists to go on a 5-minute walk on a single pathway in the Planetarium theater. Located above, the night sky is visibly demonstrated from the exhibition center at the Mystic Seaport Museum. Visitors are welcome 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. every day.
- 1:00 p.m. – “Spring Stars and the Mariner”
The Night sky has a beauty from nature that can be seen. The visible planet and moon will not be left behind. We will help you locate popular constellations like the; Orion, Hunter, Leo the Lion, and the ancient queen Cassiopeia through stargazing.
- 3:00 p.m. –“The Morgan‘s Guiding Stars”
Discover what the night sky resembled whalers from the excerpts of Charles W. Morgan logbook using dates, latitudes, longitudes she penned down.
This show costs $3 per person for members and $5 for non-members. Entrance is based on arrival.
