Speculation is running high over Liverpool’s intentions to sign a star midfielder as the club has set an asking price of 30 million pounds for French youngster Amrabat from Ajax. The paper claims Liverpool are interested in signing the 21-year-old Dutchman to add speed and trickery to their attack.

Real Madrid feel Liverpool are favourites to land highly-rated Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham

Among the many top clubs in the English leagues, Liverpool are rumored to be battling Manchester City for the signature of Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham. Real Madrid are also in the race to sign the young midfielder.

Bellingham’s name has been mentioned in the media for the past two years, and while he isn’t a box-to-box midfielder, he has shown glimpses of potential in the Bundesliga and Champions League. He has scored in three World Cup games for England, and has starred alongside Declan Rice in recent Nations League games. Bellingham has shown composure and maturity as key traits for top level performance, and will be a good fit for Liverpool.

Liverpool have had a long standing interest in the 22 year old. Bellingham is a good recruit, and the Reds would likely be able to build a strong midfield around him. Aside from Bellingham, Jurgen Klopp is looking to add more players to his squad in the winter transfer window.

Liverpool may offer’mind-boggling’ wages to turn the player’s head

Having failed to sign a permanent midfielder in the summer, Liverpool are now hoping to find reinforcements in the January transfer window. With the World Cup underway, several names are in the shop window.

Liverpool are reportedly considering a move for Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez. The player has impressed at the World Cup, and Liverpool are said to be monitoring his performances.

Liverpool scouts to watch Ajax youngster Mohammed Kudus

Several clubs are watching Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus. Everton are interested, while Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund are also keeping tabs.

Kudus is a versatile midfielder who can also play up front. His ability to score goals is a plus point. He has scored 10 goals from 21 appearances this season. He has also laid on two assists.

Kudus has had an impressive season so far, especially in Eredivisie action. His most notable goal came against Liverpool at Anfield in a Champions League game. He scored four goals in that game. He also scored two goals against South Korea in a UEFA Champions League game. His other goals this season have come in the Eredivisie.

Kudus has a contract at Ajax until June 2025. That means he could be available for PS30 million in the winter window. But Kudus’ valuation could double that amount in the bidding war.

Liverpool want to sign Doku to add speed and trickery to their attack

Jeremy Doku has long been a target for Liverpool, but it’s only recently that they’ve started to make progress in their pursuit of the young Belgian. Doku was originally recruited by Liverpool four years ago, but he turned down an offer from the club to remain at Anderlecht.

Several top European clubs are reportedly interested in Norwegian striker Andreas Schjelderup. He has a contract with Nordsjaelland until June 2024. He is also being tracked by Sevilla, Inter Milan and Arsenal.

The 18-year-old is already a first-team player at Nordsjaelland and has been playing in the Danish Superliga this season. He scored five goals in his first 10 games. He has also been named in the NXGN 2022 list of 50 best teenage footballers in the world. His ability to score from outside the box and use his body well to draw fouls has impressed scouts from across Europe.

In the Danish Superliga, he has scored nine goals. He has added four assists. He has been dubbed as the ‘next Erling Haaland’, following in the footsteps of the former Norway captain.
