Gulabo Sitabo is written by his successive colleague Juhi Chaturvedi, who hails from Lucknow.

Chaturvedi, Bachchan, and Khurrana working with the chief on the up and coming film was both a first and a get-together of sorts.
While Sircar recently coordinated Bachchan in Piku, Khurrana appeared in Bollywood with the chief’s Vicky Donor. The two movies were composed by Chaturvedi.
“Ayushmann is family, Mr Bachchan has become a dear companion. Juhi is composing again after ‘October’, Ronnie is creating in succession. My cinematographer Abhik Mukhopadhyay is returning and Shantanu Moitra is returning as music executive,” he said.
“We see each other well overall, our fellowship is generally excellent on the sets. That is the thing that makes it most significant that you appreciate the procedure and strategy. You talk, you banter,” he included.
Sircar said they had scarcely begun the after creation deal with his next directorial Sardar Udham Singh biopic, featuring Vicky Kaushal, when across the country lockdown was declared on March 24.
“We will restart work at whatever point the society lets us know. It’s a troublesome film and it needs a long after creation time,” he said.
