This is for anyone interested in cultivating the White Widow and wants to compare it to any problems they may have. Take a peek at how this magnificent old-school strain develops and grows week by week. We’ve created a week-by-week grow plan, starting with the legendary White Widow. This old-school strain’s amazing trichome production and potency will make even die-hard fans fall in love.

Commercial Strain

One of the most popular commercial strains, White Widow, has received numerous prizes since its debut in 1994. This cannabis type was created by Dutch breeders and is currently available in practically every right seed bank like i49 due to its strong high and resinous buds.

Even though growers are well aware that leaving their plants in complete darkness for up to 48 hours before harvest will cause them to produce more trichomes and fatten the buds in one final attempt to preserve the species before dying. It is believed that leaving the White Widow in complete darkness will allow you to hear her cry and, in one final attempt to preserve the species before dying; it will produce an insane amount of resin and end up completely covered in trichomes before harvest.

Cannabis Growers

Although you will not hear your plants cry, this practice is common among cannabis growers, and you will undoubtedly notice a significant difference when you do so. When you leave your plants in the darkness, they recognize that winter has arrived and concentrate all of their energy on the buds, resulting in fatter and more resinous buds.

When the seed is germinating, you’ll see a white taproot (radicle) coming out, and after it has roughly 2-3 cm, you can set it in the medium of your choice. In this case, the seed was relocated to a quick rooter plug, but you can plant it directly into the soil or any other medium you like, even hydroponically.

Rooting Hormones

You shouldn’t use nutrients at this stage, but you can use rooting hormones or mycorrhizae to assist your plant produce roots quicker.First, you’ll notice two small spherical leaves called cotyledons, which absorb sunlight and store nutrients for your seedling’s growth.Maintain a relative humidity of 60% and a temperature of roughly 23°C for the newborn cannabis plants. High humidity helps the roots develop.Something is amiss if the cotyledons are yellow or you don’t see the one-fingered cannabis leaves.

As soon as your plant begins to grow, you’ll see that it has one-fingered leaves beginning to appear. Throughout the vegetative stage, you’ll see that the number of fingers gradually increases until they reach 5-7 “fingers” (or even more with some strains). When you see the first true leaves forming, it indicates that the plant has already adapted to the pot (especially if it has been transplanted) and that the roots are now beginning to grow rapidly.

Medium Of Feeding

Depending on whether the medium has been modified or not, you will need to start feeding softly and, if necessary, using a root stimulator while allowing the medium to dry out a little between waterings to ensure that the medium is adequately oxygenated.

As soon as the roots have established themselves, you’ll notice that one pair of leaves has entirely formed overnight, indicating that your plants are healthy and growing as they should.

You must keep the humidity high and give air circulation from the beginning of the growing process for your plant to develop strong stems. This will allow you to use plant training techniques such as LST, Scrog, and SoG, which you should begin using in the second week.

Germination

When your plants have set their roots and are producing a lot of leaves in week 3 of germination, it is time to begin increasing the nutrient dose to keep up with their growth. To promote better development of the leaves and branches, you need to feed a higher amount of nitrogen in a ratio of approximately 3:1:2.

When your plant is in this stage, you can see the characteristics that it inherited from its parents; for example, Indica-dominant strains develop short and bushy, while Sativa-dominant strains develop long and with fewer leaves; this means that your plant will develop according to its genetics, but because the White Widow is a hybrid, the difference will be more visible in the leaves.

Around the third week, you’ll notice that the leaves are beginning to produce several apexes (“fingers”); with this strain, you’ll notice that the leaves are producing between 5-7 apexes per leaf.Your plant is now developing at such a rapid rate that you will be able to tell the difference between one day and the next. You will also note that the bud sites are slowly beginning to turn light green, which indicates that your plants are about to enter the pre-flowering stage.

Feminized Autoflowers

All of our autoflowers are feminized, so when you see white hairs appearing on your plant, it means your plant has officially entered the pre-flowering stage and is transitioning from the vegetative to the flowering stage. When this occurs, you should gradually shift your plant’s nutrients from growing nutrients to bloom nutrients to ensure a successful flowering.

The transition from growing to blooming nutrients should be done gradually throughout the pre-flowering week in an approximate ratio of 1-2-3, with the blooming nutrients rising a little bit per day and the growing nutrients decreasing at the same pace as the blooming nutrients increase.

It may take several days for the bud sites to begin expanding rapidly, but once you see the stigmas, you’ll know that you’ve made a good decision.Always keep an eye out for indicators of overfeeding or nutritional deficits, as these indications will assist you in adjusting the nutrient dose you’re giving your plants.

Begin to Produce

This stage is when your plant will begin to produce trichomes, so even if it isn’t smelling too bad right now, it is best to install a carbon filter or some other method of masking the smell because the smell will become stronger and stronger as the days go by. If you have any questions, please visit at i49.

Maintain a progressive decrease in relative humidity levels throughout your plant’s life cycle. Seedlings should have 60 percent relative humidity, vegetative plants should have 50 percent relative humidity, and flowering cannabis should have 40 percent relative humidity.

This week, your White Widow Auto will be officially flowering, and you should begin to see trichome production. Although you should maintain control of the environment throughout the entire growth cycle, when the buds begin to form, it is especially important to be vigilant because a specific combination of humidity and temperature can attract bugs and mold.

Bugs and molds feed on cannabis plants and buds, decaying not only the leaves but also the buds, rendering them unfit for consumption and readily spreading to neighboring plants, which is why you should inspect your cannabis plants and buds daily before Buy Weed Seeds

A significant change in the development of the buds from one day to the next will be seen if you have adequately fed your plants and there are no indicators of shortages. This is also the time of year when you’ll see your plant grow exponentially; this is known as the “flower stretch,” and it occurs after the pre-flowering stage.

Final Words

The amount your plant grows will depend on the strain’s genetics, but it will almost certainly grow significantly, with some strains even doubling in size. After five weeks, you should cease teaching your plant and remove the ties (if you used the tie-down method). Your plant should have developed the desired structure; training her while the buds are developing can cause her stress, so it’s best to avoid it.
