Things that YouTube Premium can and should do better

So far, YouTube still needs to meet expectations in this regard. Even if you don’t have a Premium account, you can still watch most original content today. Free accounts allow access to these, although quality declines as time progresses.
The company gives preference to celebrities over YouTubers. It’s a shame that YouTube doesn’t value its current creators more highly, considering they might be making a significant impact on the platform. Some have previously shown what they can do when given more resources. The documentary series Mind Field, created by Michael of Vsauce, is an excellent illustration of this.
Michael could delve further into topics by conducting experiments, interviewing experts, and more, thanks to Mind Field, which made Vsauce famous for its unique scientific material. That show was fascinating and fun to see. YouTube has the resources to replicate its early success by teaming up with other popular channels like Kurzgesagt, Crash Course, or even the Angry Video Game Nerd. Instead, we have shows like Celebrity Substitute and Joseph Gordon-Create Levitt’s Together With Me.
