Vary your focus

Take a 20-second break from looking at the screen every 20 minutes and focus on an object 20 feet away. Periodically focusing on distant objects helps to relax the eye muscles and prevent computer vision syndrome symptoms. 

Use the palming technique

The palming technique was originally a practice of Tibetan yogis, and it helps to eliminate eye strain and keep your eyes lubricated. Warm your palms up by rubbing them for a few seconds. Cup your hands gently over your eyes so the light doesn’t get through, and you can still breathe normally. Concentrate on the warmth from your hands and breathe deeply. This will give you a quick ocular refresh. 

Limit screen time to two to three hours before bedtime

When you constantly stare at a device screen for hours, you are exposed to blue light from the device. Despite stories about harmful blue light, there’s no evidence that it can damage your eyes. It can make it harder for you to get to sleep because it interferes with your wake/sleep cycle. Sleep deprivation can also affect the health of your eyes. The best way to deal with blue light is to limit your screen time to two to three hours before you go to bed. 

Take blink breaks

Blinking refreshes your eyes, and when you’re focused on a screen, you tend to blink less. This can lead to dry eyes and tension that is uncomfortable but can eventually damage your eye health. Frequently looking away from the screen and doing some conscious full eye blinks will help. 

As much as you don’t want to damage your eyesight while gambling online, you also don’t want to risk playing at a dodgy online casino where you could risk identity theft or losing your money. Online anonymity is a growing concern, especially when gambling online. 

Roll your eyes

Keep your head still and look as far to the right as possible. Roll your eyeballs until you’re looking upwards toward the ceiling without moving your head. Now roll your eyes as far to the left as you can and then roll both your eyes downwards to look at the floor, still without moving your head. Repeat these actions in reverse. Do this ten times slowly. It will help to relax your eye muscles so you can spin wheels again with refreshed eyesight.
